Mariko Fukuoka
Mariko is a Kyoto-based illustrator and designer, originally from Japan. After graduating from Kyoto University of Art & Design in 2006, she transitioned from graphic design to freelance illustration, working across advertising, magazines, packaging, and more. Her work features soft tones and hand-drawn lines, capturing daily life through themes of food, interior design, and fashion. With a deep-rooted love for music—ranging from jazz to hip-hop—Mariko's diverse influences shine through in her illustrations, which reflect both her cultural background and creative passions.
